I sold my first book on Smashwords! It was a copy of 3 Bios in a Circle. I was very thrilled. This might be the start of something good.
Let me know if you might be interested in reading any of my writing. I am currently working on some stories, but my current completed work is up on Smashwords. You can sample & download it there, but if you'd like it straight from the horse's mouth (I've always hated that expression), I would be glad to send you some stories and samples.
